This is the website of Lies Bos-Varkevisser.
I am Dutch, quilter since 1993 and since that year I made a lot of quilts, bags, charityquilts and other things.
Most things I know I learned with the help of books. I took a few courses: quilting by machine, baltimore album, sewing round forms and the tree (machine embroidery) by Mary Hackett.
The thing I like most is working with colors, making quilts with a range of colors.
Besides making quilts, I love to make websites. This website is the result of my other hobby.
February 2007 I finished the course Webdesign Professional and started my second website: www.liesbos-webdesign.nl.
As a volunteer I'm webmaster of the Quiltersgilde, the biggest quilting guild in the Netherlands. It has 14.000 members.
