In a book of the Dutch Quiltersgilde, Quilt Design Holland, I found this block, designed by Fiet Heldring. A very well designed all-over pattern.
I was looking for a pattern for a block-of-the-month group and decided to ask everybody 8 triangles in two colorschemes.
Later I attached those triangles to the squares in the middle. The green-blue ones vertical and the red-purple ones horizontal.
The brown and yellow triangles were a big surprise from someone who couldn't read?
I think this block-of-month quilt turned out very well.
